Programs and Services for Adults

Educates teachers about current drug trends, signs that may indicate their students are using drugs and/or alcohol, and how to best educate their students about drug and alcohol prevention.

Teaches parents where to find drugs, alcohol, and paraphernalia that their children may hide in plain sight at home and signs to look for that may indicate that their child is using drugs and/or alcohol.

Discourages parents and other adults from providing alcohol to those under the age of 21 by explaining the Social Host Laws that make it illegal to do so and the consequences that could occur afterward.

Funds (up to $5,000) are available to organizations and schools so they can promote and host programs that educate youth about drug and alcohol prevention.

Data-driven statistics and information on current drug and alcohol use and how to best approach conversations and education about prevention.

AlcoholEdu
An online, educational program, consisting of five 20-25 minute self-lead sessions, for students in grades 9-12 that teaches them about the dangers of underage drinking and alcohol abuse.

Overdose Awareness Billboard Contest
An art contest with big prizes that gives students ages 14-18 the chance to use their creative talents to discourage substance use and encourage healthier lifestyles.

Teen Senate
A new leadership program that teaches students leadership skills, career skills, healthy behaviors, how to make change in communities, and more through education, training, and development.
